The project

Title: Training and advice to the agricultural and aquaculture sector on sustainability, efficiency and innovation.

Description/Objective: Innovative instructional project to train and advise workers in the agricultural and aquaculture sector to improve their job skills, training and awareness in resource management, energy efficiency, environmental conservation and eco-innovation.

The project will offer face-to-face and distance training courses, as well as ongoing advice to professionals in the target sectors, fostering their environmental awareness and the emergence of new, more sustainable production models, generating in turn social and environmental benefits in the territory and favoring entrepreneurship and the improvement of workers’ skills.

Project duration: 2017-2018

Budget: 86,388 €.

Funding agency: Empleaverde Program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, an initiative of the Biodiversity Foundation. Co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) under the Employment, Training and Education Operational Program 2014-2020.
