Institutional Management

We currently manage the Technical Secretariat of the following Associations and Technological Platforms

Spanish Hydrogen Association

Since 2002 ARIEMA has held the Technical Secretariat of the AeH2, including technical and administrative management tasks of the Association, general support to the operation of the same, as well as coordination, support and technical support to the Board of Directors of the same. The main tasks carried out are the preparation of reports and / or technical documents, presentations, etc., organization of meetings, seminars, technical seminars and events to promote and disseminate the hydrogen and fuel cells sector. Likewise, R + D + i activities are promoted and streamlined.

Hydrogen Technology Collaboration Program of the International Energy Agency

Since July 2020, Ariema has been working as Technical Secretary of the Hydrogen Technological Collaboration Program (Hydrogen TCP) of the International Energy Agency (IEA), working intensely to reinforce the impact of the incessant work of the TCP, increase and diversify the working groups and incorporating a greater number of members to this international technological collaboration network.

Since February 2014, ARIEMA has collaborated with the Spanish Water Technology Platform, managing its technical secretary and streamlining the R + D + i work for the entities that comprise it. The PTEA is made up of more than 60 entities whose activity is integrated into the integral water cycle.

By delegation of the AeH2, from 2005 to 2018 ARIEMA has held and managed the Secretariat of (CTN 181). This Committee was set up with the aim of promoting the drafting of normative documents in Spanish related to hydrogen technologies and to contribute to the drafting of international standards. CTN 181 is responsible for standardizing all those aspects related to the systems and devices for the production, storage, transport, distribution, measurement and use of hydrogen.

ARIEMA staff participated as Interim Manager in the initial phase of creation and start-up of the National Center for Experimentation in Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies. The Center is one of the 24 new Singular Scientific and Technological Facilities (ICTS) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The Center is dedicated to scientific and technological research in all aspects related to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.

ARIEMA, subcontracted by CETPEC (Fishing Technology Center), prepared and presented to the Xunta de Galicia the proposal for the creation and implementation of the Galician Extractive Fishing Technology Platform – TECNOPEIXE, obtaining the highest score of the Galician proposals for Technological platforms in the process of evaluation and resolution of the call.

In 2006, ARIEMA was the Technical Secretariat for Energy of this technological center that contributes effectively to the development of the extractive fishing sector, through the use and promotion of technological innovation.
